"Our rescue pup barks at literally everything so we bought this collar to control his barking. We did find that it works well as long as you are consistent as to when you click the remote to refocus his attention. We did not use the ""shock"" feature

"I installed my first electric fence six years ago. The collars of that first set failed after 5 years and were no longer produced. I had to buy the next model that would work with my original transmitter. These collars went yhrough the batteries in a quarter of the time and then started shocking my dogs even though they were not near the fence

So far so good. My dog is finally starting to listen more. This was a great way to quickly change some of my dog habits. So all we have to do now is pressed the beeping sound and he listened. We try not to shock him unless it's the last result.

Great product- but follow the training instructions!!
