This product works well...not complicated to use and the dog got the message! Would recommend it; it keeps our aggressive puppy out of the kitchen.

Used to break my dog of jumping on the couch - worked the very first time & now I don’t even need to put it on her!WARNING: it does work through walls! I accidentally shocked my dog bc I had her walk through the garage, which shares the same wall as my couch.

We moved into my father's house for 3 months while buying a house of our own. During that time my 4 year old dutch shepherd learned from my father's dog he could get food if he jumped up on the counter. I was at my wits end with the dog. Never had the problem before and after he learned food was on the counter he couldn't be left alone without jumping on the counter and tearing the place up. Put this collar on him cranked it up to the max setting, set the box to 9ft and went outside for an hour. By the time I got back my dog knew the exact boundary and couldn't be bribed with food to enter the kitchen. Fixed months of frustration and anger in one hour.

Got this to keep my 65 pound senior lab from stealing the cat's food when we're gone and it works great! I tested out the initial shock setting on myself to make sure it was okay and I think it is a good deterret for medium sized dogs and up. I agree with some of the reviews that it is too powerful for a small cat or dog.Pros: good price, easy instructions, easy setup, movable equipment, deterrent that works, multiple levels to try in case initial shock level.

Works perfect. I’ve had it a few months and it’s worked great.
