This pet trainer has a great range like at least 50feet. It has so many option from sound to vibration to shock but most people will not use the shock unless your dog doesnt respond to the other 2. You can also change the chann la of the device so it really has a lot of option. It comes with both cables to charge the handheld and the dog unit
